The Vision
The Institute for African American Health, Inc. was incorporated January 5, 1993. It’s founder, Dr. Joseph L. Webster, Sr., envisioned an organization that would work to bring together existing individuals, groups, and organizations in a way that would result in a more directed, effective, and efficient approach to providing healthcare to the minority community. He wanted to provide the support that would better enhance the efforts of those already out there working in the fields.
